How Good is our Culture and Sport? is the Scottish government's quality improvement framework for the culture and sport sectors. It provides quality indicators against six areas of activity and challenges local authorities to evaluate their services and plan for improvement.
Within the culture and sport family, each sector is developing its own differentiated version of the framework, entitled Taking a Closer Look... Emma worked with Tim Dent of The Sport and Leisure Consultancy to provide support for a pilot programme run by Museums Galleries Scotland. Emma and Tim worked with six museum services across Scotland to develop and evaluate the framework, providing support to participants and working towards a final self evaluation framework that will be rolled out to museums and galleries across Scotland.
