Holocaust evidence
Original archive records relating to Holocaust survivors are now freely available online thanks to a partnership between the Holocaust Survivors' Friendship Association, based in Leeds, and the International Tracing Service at Bad Arolsen, Germany. The ITS provided electronic copies of documentation relating to 8 survivors which has been added to the HSFA website thanks to a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund. You can explore the evidence, which demonstrates the bureaucratic nature of the Holocaust, on the HSFA website.
Emma is working with the HSFA to implement its HLF-funded project, Sustaining the Legacy, which was shortlisted for a National Lottery Award in 2013. Find out more about the project here.
