First World War conference
I'm organising a conference for the Joining Up the Humber museum partnership about teaching the First World War. It will take place from 10am - 4pm at the Guildhall in Hull on March 3rd 2015.
The event will focus on how we can engage young people with the events of the First World War through a focus on diversity and hidden histories. There will be 8 workshops run by education advisers, museum learning specialists adn academics from the University of Hull which will show new approaches to teaching the First World War and explore its meaning and legacy.
